Welcome
Barnby & North Cove Primary School and Little Acorns Nursery is a very popular and successful village primary school situated on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk, a short distance from the market town of Beccles, the stunning beaches of the most easterly region of England and, very locally, the beautiful nature reserves of North Cove and Carlton Colville. Our school has over 80 pupils, each unique and important. Our dedicated and talented staff are committed to ensuring our pupils have the best education possible, through a broad and diversified curriculum, leadership initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Within our school we have The Broads unit. This is a specially designed unit for children with Cognition and Learning needs in Key Stage 2. We offer our children a chance to thrive by supporting them to grow as well-rounded individuals. We support our children to become independent learners and provide many opportunities to work together with their mainstream peers.
We are one big family at Barnby and North Cove. Children really enjoy coming together to extend their school friendships and staff value the collaborative working which our school offers. We learn and play together; our older children look out for our younger children and provide exemplary examples of learning behaviour for the little ones to learn from. We are lucky to have an abundance of outdoor learning space for children to enjoy. Barnby & North Cove is a very happy school where the children, staff and visitors love to attend.
